Two Bucks Fundraiser: October 15, 2017 – HELP Needed

Our one big Fall Fundraising event will be on Sunday, October 15. It is the Two Bucks fundraiser that we have hosted the last couple of years. Chris and Tony Girardi have volunteered to chair the fundraiser this year. If you have questions regarding this fundraiser or how you can help, please call Tony (364-4230) or Chris (289-0480). The Browns are playing Houston, which is supposed to be an away game. Hopefully by then, Houston will be back to business as usual.

Since this is a trip year for the Orchestra and Wind Ensemble, we want to help the students earn funds to their student accounts. Therefore, for every ticket sold in advance will earn $5 to that student’s account. The rules for this payment to the student accounts payment:

  • All payments for sold tickets must be turned in no later than Wednesday, October 11. NOBOB parents will be in the Band Hall to collect the payments.
  • If the payments are delivered to Two Bucks on October 15, we cannot guarantee the credit to the student accounts. There is a lot of activity at the door.

Even if you cannot attend the event on October 15, we need help with other items for this fundraiser:

  • We need raffle baskets. These raffle baskets are what provides most of the income for this event. Baskets should have a minimum value of $25.00 but can, of course, be worth more. We do have a commitment for a fire pit/s’mores basket.
  • We are also doing three special raffles:
    • Gift Card Wreath
    • Wine/Beer basket.
    • Booze basket.

These special raffles were very successful raffle items last year. If you wish to donate a gift card(s), wine, beer or booze, please deliver them on any Wednesday evening during Band Rehearsal.
