Students and parents driving to Rocky River High School on Saturday, January 28th for the Solo and Ensemble event: please plan accordingly for your travel due to road closings because of the memorial service for the Cleveland Police Officer, Officer Fahey:
As more information comes out regarding the Cleveland Police officer, Officer Fahey, it appears that the procession will travel completely through Rocky River on Hilliard Blvd. The funeral procession is expected to go through between 9:00 am and 10:00 am. At some point in this time frame, Rocky River will be completely bisected in the center (Hilliard Blvd) and traffic will not be able to travel south to north. RRHS lies about .25 mile north of Hilliard Blvd on Wagar Road (AKA west 210th street) People will probably be gathering and departing anytime between 8:00 and 11:00 for this event. The procession will continue on into Lakewood and eventually get to Rocky River Drive (state Route 237) as it heads to the Our Lady of Angels Church.
