| Mr. Ben McMurtrie : Director
Ben McMurtrie joined the faculty of the North Olmsted City Schools in Fall of 2005. He serves as Director of Instrumental Music for North Olmsted High School where he directs the orchestra, wind ensemble, marching band, jazz ensemble, and pep band. In addition, he assists in teaching band and orchestra at the middle school level. Recently, Mr. McMurtrie was named North Olmsted's Teacher of the Year for the 2010-2011 school year. Under his direction, NOHS ensembles have traveled to Toronto, Orlando, and Chicago and have received superior ratings at district, state, and national adjudicated contests.
Prior to his appointment in North Olmsted, Mr. McMurtrie had served as Graduate Teaching Assistant for the Kent State University Bands and as Director of Bands in the Kirtland (OH) Local Schools. He has earned degrees from Kent State University (MM, 2005) and Bowling Green State University (BM, 1999). He resides in Willoughby, OH with his wife, Amanda (a music teacher in the Perry Public Schools) and daughters Ella (5) and Claire (1).

| Mrs. Carey Whitehouse : Assistant Director Carey Whitehouse received her Bachelor of Music Education from the Baldwin-Wallace Conservatory of Music and her Master of Education from Ashland University. She has been a band director in the North Olmsted system for over 30 years, having first worked with the marching band with Mr. Kepperley and Mr. Malcus in the early 1980’s. email Mrs. Whitehouse

| Mrs. Gina Caroscio - Eaglet Advisor
Mrs. Caroscio first began coaching the NOHS Eaglets in 1993. She is currently in her 11th season and has encouraged the squad to grow and change over the years. She has also been a faculty member of North Olmsted Middle School since 1998 and is currently teaching 8th grade American History.
She received her Bachelor’s Degree from Bowling Green State University and her Master’s Degrees in Educational Technology and Middle Level Education from Walden University. Mrs. Caroscio is also a member of the NOHS graduating class of 1984 and a former Eaglet.
She and her husband, Michael, are the proud parents of daughter Madison.
