Alumni Band
Welcome NOHS Band Alumni! We thank you for your time in our band. As time "marches" on and new members enter our ranks, we remember the contributions that past generations of Eagle Musicians have made to our organization. We hope that you will be able to join us this year and in the future as we pay tribute to our past.
A very special part of this Inaugural 2011 NOHS Alumni Band will be our tribute Mr. John Kepperley, longtime band director at NOHS. He touched all of our lives, and we will commemorate his life with a special halftime performance at our final game of the season on October 28, 2011. The theme of the show is "Mr. Kepperley's Favorites", and the Eagle Band will perform several selections that can be closely identified with "Kepp". We would like the Alumni Band to join us on the field for "Hang On Sloopy" and "You" to close this show, and also during pregame for the Alma Mater.
What better tribute to Mr. Kepperley that the formation of an Alumni Band that establishes a lifelong link between former students and their Alma Mater?
