With 145 members, the NOHS Eagle Marching Band is the largest student organization at North Olmsted High School. It is also among the most active. The Eagle Band meets from the beginning of August through the end of October each year. The group rehearses each day during 1st period, and also on Wednesday evenings from 6:00-8:30 p.m. Membership in the ensemble is open to all NOHS students who demonstrate an appropriate level of skill through past participation in the North Olmsted Bands or audition with the director. The band is comprised of musicians and the members of the Eaglet Flag Corps and Eaglet Kickline.
The Eagle Marching Band has worked to establish a tradition of excellence in performance and in the character of its members. The band has presented memorable and well-received shows at all NOHS Football games. The group has also performed at Walt Disney World, for the Cleveland Columbus Day Parade, and as a guest band at the 2008 Patriot Bowl at Cleveland Browns Stadium.
